Our Church Ethos
The staff, governors, parents, carers and pupils of St John’s Meads Church of England Primary School are delighted at the outcome of their recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican Schools. – January 2012.
“The distinctiveness and effectiveness of St John's Meads C of E School as a Church of England school are Outstanding. There are very strong Christian beliefs and values underpinning all the school does that creates a vibrant and exciting environment for learning. The school lives its vision where they aim to be ‘a caring, Christian learning place, developing our love of God and others, our self-respect and courtesy.’ This is seen in very good quality leadership, worship and the teaching of Religious Education (RE) that is highly valued by the children, their families, the local churches and the wider community.”
We would like to thank all who support the school for their positive contributions to making us such an outstanding church school.

The children are beginning to learn about the Stations of the Cross. Stations are places where people wait while they are going from one place to another. Stations are also places where people take time to think about Jesus as he went to die on a cross. The children have been learning how the Stations of the Cross show us how much Jesus loved us and also how they can show Jesus' example in their own lives.
