Here is a game Greek children used to play. Why don't you try it?

It is called Knucklebones or Horse in the stable.

You need one or more players and you need five knucklebones (or wooden cubes)

Rules:

  1. put four knucklebones on the ground. Each one is a ‘horse’.
  2. Put the left hand near them with the fingers and thumb tips spread out and touching the ground.
  3. The gaps between the fingers are the ‘stables’.
  4. One knucklebone is tossed into the air with the right hand
  5. Before catching it the player must knock one horse into a stable with the right hand – that is they must flick a knucklebone into the gaps between the fingers
  6. With the right hand, catch the knucklebone that was thrown in the air
  7. Repeat until all four horses are in their stables – no more than one horse in each stable!
  8. The first person to stable all the horses ten times is the winner
