School Development Plan Priorities 2017-18

1.  Outcomes for pupils at the school

  • To raise attainment and progress in yrs 3,4,5 and 6 in Reading, Writing and Maths to be inline with national expectations or beyond.
  • To raise the whole school profile and outcomes of mathematics, especially at greater depth.
  • To ensure EYFS outcomes continue to excel national expectations

2. Quality of Teaching and Assessment at the School

  • To develop a user friendly, rigorous assessment and tracking system to to show evidence of impact.
  • To maximise creative approaches to learning opportunities for all, especially the disadvantaged, vulnerable and those working at greater depth.

3. Personal, Development, Behaviour and Welfare

  • To develop behaviour for learning strategies ~ independence, interdenpendance and study skills.
  • To ensure the whole school environment , space and resources are conducive to learning.
  • To uphold the distinct Christian nature of our school.

4. Effectiveness of Leadership and Management

  • To continue to develop middle leaders to support succession planning.
  • To continue to develop subject leaders experience, skills and expertise.

5. Overall Effectiveness

  • To continue to develop partnerships as an outward facing school with the school family, parish, wider community, business and commerse.
  • To develop financial wellbeing, enterprise and entrepreneurial skills for the common good of all.
