I recently joined the St John's Meads School community after working in a primary school in St-Leonard's for 5 years, where I taught in Key Stage 1 and 2, led Key Stage 1 and Phonics and volunteered as a Staff Governor. I have had such a wonderful welcome to the school from the pupils, parents and staff and already feel a great sense of belonging to this warm community.
I enjoy all of the subjects that I teach but I especially enjoy English and RE. My favourite Bible passage is Galatians 5:22-23 "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." These are attributes that I actively seek to model and encourage in the children that I work with.
In my spare time, I am usually either working on my allotment, knitting up something cosy or sewing something special to wear. I also enjoy supporting our local rugby team too!
